The best AI-generated images are explicitly based on pre-existing artists or art styles - try and muck around with descriptive language as much as you want, you’ll never get results better than if you directly input “the Bayeux Tapestry” or “Gary Panter” in your prompt. Knowledge of art history and contemporary artists becomes quite potent.
