What: “For one night only, 24th Biennale of Sydney artist and punk-metal musician, Serwah Attafuah will transform the Museum into a cyber dreamscape of technological nostalgia. Presented both virtually and in the Museum, Artbar: Tomorrow invites audiences to enter a world just beyond our grasp. Experience artworks, performances and immersive activations from a line-up of local and international artists.”

Or in more poetic terms: “20 minutes into the future in a parallel timeline, too close for comfort.

Islands drowning in a sea of dead pixels; foamy static rushes and burns on a different plane. Wave displaces and pumps the shoreline in anaphora. Souls log off never to log online again. Glitched into obsolescence. The colony spreads its botnet, seeding, leeching. An apocalypse eclipses the light at the end of the tunnel, dimly lit with a hope for Tomorrow.”
